PM Care Students --Jazzercise is back! The children (boys too!) especially enjoyed Jazzercise last winter when we weren't able to go outside very often. The class combines fun, easy to follow dance moves to popular music and fitness games. The class meets every Wednesday from February 5 th through March 19 th . Cost is: $35 for the 7 weeks. Checks should be made out to Montessori. Fill out attached sheets and return with a check.

PTO Meeting next Tuesday, February 4 th - Topic: Transition from Montessori - Past parents come back and tell what they did to make the transition smooth. Starts at 6:30/ends at 7:30. Babysitting is provided - Please sign-up in the dining room (under staff picture board).

Valentines - Children traditionally bring Valentine/friendship cards that you can buy at the local Walmart/Target store in packs of 24.

  • Please do not include anything extra in the card (ie) any type of candy, sticker, pencil, toy, etc.

  • Children should only have their names on the cards they give out, do not address the cards to individuals.

  • There should be one card for each child.

Montessoiree Fundraising Dinner/Auction at the Old Post Office is 25 days away! Tickets go on sale February 3 rd and will be $50 per person. Items are still being accepted, so it's not too late to donate. Forms are on the PTO table.

Class Theme Baskets for the Montessoiree are set up by the dining room door. T here are lists of items for each basket on the door of each classroom . Write your name next to what you would like to donate; it will eliminate duplication of items.

Ms. Beth - Gift Wrapping: gift tags, bows, markers, cards, etc.

Donations for Live and Silent Auction - Need ideas? We have a binder in the lobby listing vendors; many have donated in the past, but we need help in contacting them. If you can contact them, put your name next to them so no one else will contact them. If you know of a business, check to see if anyone has contacted them yet. The paperwork for donations is at the PTO table.
