Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving break!! As nice as the weather seems to be at the moment, we are expecting possible snow overnight Thursday. See below for our snow policy.

Snow Days - Per page 23 in the Montessori Handbook, Montessori closes school if Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC) closes its schools. Since we are not bus dependent, we do not do school delays . Please watch the local news programs or listen to the radio news in the morning for updated closings. If you have AM or PM care in your child's program, they may attend their normal hours for day care activities. For more details, please refer to the handbook.

Montessoiree Committee meeting will be this Wednesday at 5:15 here at school. If you are interested in helping out with any aspect of Soiree dinner/dance/auction, come to the meeting or contact Melissa J.

January Enrollment - If you have a child who you would like to have start this January, please ask Diane or Laura for registration forms.

Winter Break will be from Monday, December 23 rd through Wednesday, January 1 st . School resumes on Thursday, January 2 nd . If your child has AM or PM care in their program, they may attend for day care on those days.

Montessori will be totally closed on Christmas Eve (December 24 th ), Christmas Day (December 25 th ) and New Year's Day (January 1 st ).

S tandardized Testing - Mr. R's third graders will be taking standardized tests the week of December 2 nd . Please arrive on time, with a good night's sleep!

Outdoor Play Time - Per page 20 in the Montessori Handbook, all children must come dressed appropriately to play outside each day. Going outside is part of their normal school activities. Time to get out the winter coats, hats, gloves and scarves. Children must be well enough to be outside. They may not stay inside at a parent or doctor's request.
