Letter Home: Covid-19

Dear Parents,

Some of you have inquired about our plans regarding the Covid-19 virus (Coronavirus). Please keep in mind since new information is being garnered each day by the World Health Organization and the CDC, we cannot give you a definitive plan for when or if we would close our building.

If any decision needs to be made regarding our school schedule/calendar of events, we will take our direction from the Vanderburgh County Health Department and CDC recommendations.

We realize that you may have children/close relatives with underlying health issues. You will be notified as expeditiously as possible via email should we become aware of anyone having been exposed or contracting the virus.

We, as a staff, will continue to be vigilant in modeling and monitoring handwashing, disinfecting doorways, fountains, bathrooms, classroom materials, etc. throughout the day per CDC guidelines. You may have already noticed that hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the building for staff, children and parents to use.
