Ms. Sarah:  Is asking for donations because there are several big ticket items she would like to

buy for the classroom.   Checks should be made out to Montessori, but indicate they are for Ms.

Sarah’s class in the notation.   She’ll be posting the items on her blog.

Mr. R’s Class –  They are asking for Amazon gift cards so they may purchase some of the         following items:

Boogie Board Writing Tablet (in place of our small dry-erase boards for group lessons)

Blipblox Toy Synthesizer (aimed at kids, but well thought of by electronic musicians for

being the real thing – we’ll use it for music for the third grade movies)

Lego WeDo 2.0 (programming and intro to robotics)

Thermo-Pen Thermometer (For Thanksgiving turkey, as well as miscellaneous science

experiments)

Turing Tumble (physical computing machine using marbles to flip logic gates)

       Cases for the remaining tablets

Re-enrollment contracts for 2020-2021 – Re-enrollment contracts for next year have gone via email and in your child’s bag.  Please return all paperwork on or before next Monday, December 16th

Please return the contract with the $100 annual registration fee/per child.

If you have an additional child you would like to register for next year, you can print off an additional copy or pick one up in the office.

Mr. R’s students will receive the “Elementary contract” in a separate email.

If you are not returning, write your child’s name on the contract and initial in the upper right-hand corner and return the contract.

Third grade students and current kindergarten students will not need to turn in any paperwork.

Holiday Family Cards:  If you send out holiday family picture cards, we would love to have one.  You can mail it or drop one in the black basket at the front desk!  We love to hear from past families as well as current families.

Holiday Shopping??? The PTO is preparing for our annual Montessoiree!  A big part of the event is our very popular silent auction, which includes a variety of fun baskets and packages of items donated by individuals and businesses.

If you would like to do a donation, the donations committee has prepared a wish list on Amazon of items for the silent auction.  If you order from the wish list, you can have the item shipped directly to Montessori, and the PTO will take care of it from there. (Be sure to request a gift receipt so we know who donated the item!) These are just suggested items and packages – if you have another idea, please go for it!
