Day of the Dead Celebration Saturday, November 2nd at Central Park in downtown

Henderson from 4:00 – 7:00 PM.

Come celebrate with us:  Mexican dancers, craft activities for children (sugar skull decorating, face painting, tin crafting, tortilla making, flower tissue and papel picado making, etc.) and ends with a parade!

Volunteers needed:  See below.  This is a wonderful event to be a role model for community service with/for our children and help celebrate the cultural diversity in our community.

Information will be coming home closer to the date, but mark your calendars!

Background:  Montessori is joining efforts with the city of Henderson to host this community (free) cultural event.  The Mexican holiday Day of the Dead is a celebration of loved ones who have passed.

Day of the Dead Volunteers:   We will need up to 60 volunteers on the day of the celebration.  We’ve included a link to show where we’ll need help on Saturday, November 2nd.
