Spring Cleanup Day will be this Saturday, March 16th.  Volunteers needed from 8:00 to 11:00 to help out.  If you can help the whole time or just an hour, please sign-up in the dining room under the PTO bulletin board or email back on this email and we’ll sign you up.

Please bring: brooms, rakes, leaf blowers, etc.

Sugar Bush Social:  For those families who were here last year, you may remember the elementary class hosted the Sugar Bush Social.  The elementary class and family volunteers have been collecting the sap from many, maple trees.  We’ll be boiling down the sap into syrup this Friday.

From 3:00 to 5:00 you are welcome to stop by for some pancake bites with a taste of maple syrup.

Spring Break Surveys are attached.  If you have AM and/or PM care in your program, please let us know your child’s plans for Spring Break.  You are also welcome to email back your plans and we’ll fill the survey out for you!

Calendar Reminders: 

Monday, March 25 – Friday, March 29:  Spring Break – School Closed, daycare only.

Monday, April 22 – School Closed, daycare only.

Friday, May 24th – Last day of the school year.

                          Preprimary Dismissal will be at 11:45.

                          Mr. R’s class dismisses at 12:15.

                          If your program includes AM or PM care we will have daycare through 5:30.

Memorial Day Week:  Montessori will totally closed.

Montessori Summer Program  – Information will go out mid-April.  The program will be available for any student who is enrolled in the current school year including current kindergartners.  Tuition will remain the same for the two 4 week summer sessions.  Children will go on a weekly field trip and will participate in swim lessons at the East Side YMCA once a week.

Summer Program:  Session One – June 3 through June 28    Session Two – July 1 through July 26

School Play – Attached is play information which we hope will answer most of your questions. You may want to print it off as a handy reference as we get closer to the play.

Play CD’s – To help your child learn their song for the upcoming play, all of the music for the school play, Future Tours, has been recorded and available for purchase at the front desk.  The cost is $10.

Everyone in the school typically participates in the play.  If your family will not be here due to family or other obligations, please let your teacher know now.  Costume, dance assignments, etc. are planned with each student participating.  Knowing ahead of time allows us to make adjustments since plans for the play have now started.

Dress Rehearsal for the play will be Thursday, April 18th.  Parents will be picking up at 6:00 PM.  This is the only practice we will have at the theater, please reschedule other activities that may fall on that day.
